Reducing Hunger and Poverty
The LPPO just set its 2010 Legislative Agenda:
- Protect School Lunch Co Pay and Fresh Fruit & Veggie program
- Expand Summer Meal Program ($250K)
- Protect General Assistance – Unemployable (GAU)
- Increase Cash Diversion eligibility to 200% of Federal Poverty Level
- Support Home Foreclosure moratorium for the unemployed
