Director
Paul has served as the director of the Lutheran Public Policy Office of Washington State since 2000. A graduate of Seattle Pacific University and Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary, Paul served congregations in Kentucky and Washington State before coming to the LPPO.
David Coombs
Office Manager/Communications
David first came to the LPPO in 2006 as a member of the Lutheran Volunteer Corps. Raised in Kenmore, Washington, he graduated from Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa with a degree in Political Science. He enjoys baking desserts and bike riding to assuage dessert related guilt.
Matt Keadle
Seminary Intern
Matt graduated from Valparaiso University in 2003. Since 2006 he has been working toward his M.Div at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. He did his CPE work at a homeless shelter on Chicago’s North Side as part of the Urban CPE program, a course which combined pastoral care with social analysis. Most recently, Matt spent a year in Mexico, where he studied Spanish and liberation theology in the first-ever Mexico Semester Program at the ELCA’s Lutheran Center in Mexico City.
